Re: loved the story This is a cute story and Wilson getting enslaved and going to work at his old job makes more sense than House becoming a sextoy in "The Cripple".
It does, doesn't it? Except that the way I'd set up the universe there, slaves didn't get to keep their medical licences until the AMA finally lost that fight to Commerce.
I can also see how Wilson's debts could get overwhelming, which made a little more sense than the same thing happening to House.
I dunno. I can see House doing something one-off recklessly stupid. But Wilson, yeah, it would be the build-up year on year....
Everyone's different reactions were wonderful. Were any of the stories with Wilson owning House good? Where would I find them?
Thank you! I don't think (honestly) either of the stories were that good (not bad, just not that good) and they're both WiP: Rational Principle by G. E. Waldo, set in a US where slavery is legal and Wilson is a Senator as well as a doctor, and CollarRedux, which seems to be someone's rather ill-advised attempt to rewrite the series as a slavefic.
