Aaarrggg, I want to feel bad for Willow, I want to be sympathetic to her but I can't. I know she is performing the big picture good, and may lead to the actual end of slavery. I can even understand and forgive the death of the 2000, but to fall asleep knowing that a person is being raped a few feet away is evil.
Becoming immune to the suffering of others is normal but a very nasty habit of people and makes me wonder if the brave new world they are fighting for will be any better then what they have. Who will remember the 2000, who will remember Richard.
All that being said, glad you are writing and posting even if the story makes me go aaarrrggg.
